1st AC (First Assistant Camera), Short Film

Hey everyone, Ricky here (Playback Op) reaching out for an upcoming independent drama short film. It's a character-driven story with a surreal, slightly melancholic tone focusing on loss and memory. We're looking for an experienced 1st AC to join our small, dedicated crew and help bring this vision to life. You'd be responsible for maintaining focus, pulling focus, facilitating lens changes, and general camera department organization. We're shooting on an ARRI Alexa Mini LF, so familiarity with that system is a must. Please have your own follow focus system and basic camera toolkit. A strong reel showcasing your focus pulling skills and a good attitude are essential. We value collaboration and a calm demeanor on set. Shoot dates are approximately 3-4 days in late March or early April, likely long days but we're committed to a professional working environment. Compensation will be discussed based on experience. We'll provide meals and a solid, respectful set culture. Looking forward to seeing your work!
