1st AC, Sci-Fi/Action Web Series

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic 1st Assistant Camera to join our independent web series production. This is a thrilling sci-fi action series with some cool practical stunts, think a grittier, indie take on 'The Expanse.' We're aiming for a high-quality, professional look on a lean budget, so your attention to detail will be key. You'll be responsible for pulling focus, maintaining camera equipment, and assisting our DP with lens changes and camera setup. We shoot on a RED Komodo (provided) and need someone who's familiar with its operations. Experience with wireless follow focus systems is a plus. While this is an entry-level position, a solid understanding of camera mechanics and some on-set experience is required. Please have a reel or a list of projects you've worked on where you served as 1st AC. Our shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late May to early June, across several weekends, with potential weekday evening shoots. We're providing meals and a copy of the finished series for your portfolio. We're a passionate crew and this is a great opportunity to get some exciting footage for your reel and network in the LA independent film scene.
