Mid VFX Artist, Toronto Commercial

Hey everyone, Lucas here. I'm gaffing an exciting upcoming commercial project and we're on the hunt for a talented mid-level Visual Effects Artist to join our team. This is for an independent production, a high-energy, visually driven ad for a new tech product that will require some clean compositing and motion graphics work to really make it pop. We're looking for someone who can integrate with our post-production workflow and bring a keen eye for detail. Your responsibilities will primarily include roto, tracking, clean plate work, and 2D/3D compositing in After Effects or Nuke. Experience with Mocha or similar tracking software is a must. You should have a solid understanding of color grading basics and be able to deliver production-ready assets. Please have a strong reel showcasing your commercial or short-form VFX experience. We're not looking for someone to build a spaceship from scratch, but rather enhance existing footage creatively and efficiently. Shoot dates are approximately late June / early July, with post-production kicking off immediately after for about two to three weeks, full-time hours. We'll be working out of a central Toronto studio for the post phase. We provide all necessary software licenses and a comfortable workstation. Day rate is $100-200, negotiable based on experience.
