Art Department for Feature Film

Looking for an Art Assistant to join our independent feature film production in Chicago. This is a gritty crime drama with a stylized visual tone, a real character piece that we're all very excited about. We need someone who can help bring our vision to life on set, from practical set dressing to prop management and general support for the Art Director. You'll be assisting with the procurement of materials, organization of the art department space, and ensuring everything is ready for each scene. Previous experience on film sets, even student films or shorts, is a plus, but we're open to all experience levels. We're looking for someone with a great attitude, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic who can jump in and be a vital part of the team. A portfolio or examples of any related work would be great to see, but not strictly required. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience on a feature film and contribute creatively. Shoot dates are approximately 4-5 weeks, starting late spring/early summer. Workdays will likely be 10-12 hours. We'll provide all necessary tools and supplies.
