Art Department for Web Series
Hey everyone, I'm a Production Designer putting together an Art Department for an upcoming independent web series. It's a dark comedy, kind of a 'Succession' meets 'The Office' vibe, following a dysfunctional family running a struggling boutique firm. We're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Props Master who can help bring our often quirky, sometimes absurd, world to life through set dressing and prop management. Your main responsibilities will include sourcing, tracking, and maintaining all props for the series, working closely with me to execute the visual style. This isn't just about finding cool stuff; you'll be key in ensuring prop continuity between shots and episodes. We’re especially interested in folks who are crafty and resourceful, able to adapt and think on their feet for some of our more unusual prop needs. No specific gear is required, but a keen eye for detail and some experience, even on student or personal projects, creating a specific atmosphere through objects is a big plus. A short portfolio or reel showing your prop work or set dressing skills would be great, just anything that gives me a sense of your aesthetic and organizational capabilities. We're shooting weekends in August and September, primarily 8-10 hour days. We'll be providing meals and a copy of the final series for your reel. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on a fun project.
