1st AC, Web Series, Austin

Hey everyone, Bryce here. I'm helping crew up an exciting independent web series shooting this spring in Austin, and we're looking for a skilled 1st Assistant Camera. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama with elements of a dark comedy, exploring themes of resilience and community in a unique urban setting. It's ambitious, but we have a fantastic director with a clear vision and a passionate team. As our 1st AC, you'll be crucial in maintaining camera equipment, pulling focus with precision, and assisting the Director of Photography on set. We need someone who's comfortable with various camera systems, excellent at organization, and a pro at managing lenses and accessories. You should have your own follow focus, wireless video, and standard AC kit. More importantly, we're looking for someone with a great attitude, who can anticipate needs, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Please share your reel or a list of relevant projects when you reach out. Shoot dates are primarily weekends in April and May, with some flexibility. We're looking at 10-12 hour days. This is a passion project, so it's a volunteer position, but we'll provide meals and good company, of course.
