Locations Scout/Manager, Indie Doc

Hey everyone, I'm working on an independent documentary project here in Los Angeles and we need a talented Locations Scout/Manager. This film is going deep into the world of underground art and performance, focusing on the vibrant, often hidden, spaces where that scene thrives. We're looking for someone with a good eye for unique, character-filled spots, both indoors and out, that can help us tell this story visually. Think raw, forgotten, and truly authentic locations. Ideally, you'd also have some experience negotiating access and handling permits, or at least be a quick learner in that area. This is a small, but passionate, crew. We're aiming for a roughly 4-6 week shoot window, likely starting in late spring/early summer, with some prep work beforehand. We're flexible on experience level, so if you're eager and have a good eye, please reach out. Compensation will be dependent on experience and clearly discussed upfront. We'll provide any necessary production insurance and location fees, of course.
