Locations for Short Film

Hey everyone, I'm a Rigger working on an exciting independent short film, a gritty sci-fi drama with a unique visual style, and we're looking for an experienced Locations Manager to join our crew in Manchester. This film has some really interesting world-building, and finding the right environments is going to be key to making it pop. You'll be responsible for scouting, securing, and managing all shooting locations, ensuring they meet the creative vision and production requirements. This includes negotiating access, coordinating logistics, and serving as the primary point of contact with property owners. We need someone who has a solid track record in locations for narrative film, ideally with some experience finding industrial or unconventional spaces. We'll provide transport to and from locations, and production insurance, of course. Day rate is competitive at $100-200, depending on experience. Looking forward to hearing from you.
