Hey all, Frank here, the Transportation Coordinator on an exciting independent feature shooting soon. We're looking for an enthusiastic Locations Production Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles. This is a dramatic indie film, a really character-driven story with some powerful emotional moments, so we need someone who understands the vibe. You'd be helping the Locations Manager with everything from securing permits and managing parking logistics to helping with set preparation and breakdown. This is a great chance to learn the ropes of the Locations department on a real feature. No specific gear required from you, but a reliable car is a must, and a clean driving record is essential given some of the tasks. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a positive attitude. Shoot dates are TBD but looking like a 4-week principal photography window in late summer/early fall. Hours will vary, as is typical with independent film. Compensation for this role is deferred, with points also being offered. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to get their foot in the door.
