Locations Scout/Manager (Pilot, Brooklyn)

Hey everyone, I'm working on an upcoming independent pilot, a grounded drama with some dark comedic undertones, set in various Brooklyn neighborhoods. The story explores gentrification and community, so authentic, character-rich locations are crucial to our vision. We're looking for a Locations Scout or Manager to help us find and secure filming spots that truly reflect our narrative. Your primary responsibilities will include scouting viable locations based on script breakdowns, negotiating access, managing permits, and being present during relevant shoot days to oversee location logistics. Experience level isn't as important as a good eye, resourcefulness, and strong communication skills. If you know Brooklyn well and have a knack for finding hidden gems or dealing with property owners, we want to hear from you. We're aiming to shoot for about 5-7 days in late spring/early summer, primarily during daylight hours, but exact dates are flexible. Compensation is $100-200/day, depending on experience and the scope of work. We'll provide any necessary production insurance.
