NY Web Series Locations Manager

Hey everyone, I'm Jess Okafor, a Set Decorator currently working on a really cool independent web series here in NYC. It's a dark comedy, kind of a modern noir, with some fantastic characters and a unique story we're excited to bring to life. We're looking for a Locations Manager to join our small, passionate crew. Your main responsibilities would involve scouting and securing diverse shooting locations around New York City that fit our visual style, managing location agreements, and coordinating logistics for our small cast and crew on set. We're hoping to find someone who's resourceful and creative, someone who can find those hidden gems that really make a scene pop. You'd also be the primary contact with location owners and local authorities, ensuring a smooth shoot every time. Experience wise, we're open to all levels, from those just starting out to seasoned professionals. What's most important is a strong understanding of NYC, good communication skills, and a willingness to hustle. While we don't have a budget for location fees yet, your ability to secure great spots for little to no cost will be incredibly valuable. This is a deferred compensation project, offering a backend percentage of any revenue generated. Our tentative shoot dates are spread across 2-3 weekends in late spring (May/June), with some scouting days beforehand. We'll provide transportation stipends for scouting, and food on set.
