Senior Art Director for Pilot, LA

Hey everyone, I'm Sierra, a Hair Department Head on an exciting new pilot and we're looking for a Senior Art Director to join our team. This is an independent production, a dark comedy with thriller elements, think something like a Coen Brothers movie meets 'Killing Eve.' It's going to be visually striking, with a unique aesthetic that really leans into the psychological tension. We need someone who can translate that vision into tangible sets and props. Your main responsibilities will include leading the art department, overseeing set design and construction, prop sourcing and management, and working closely with the director and DP to ensure a cohesive look. We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio showcasing experience in narrative film, especially projects with a distinct visual style. You should be a master of practical build-outs and highly creative problem-solving. We don't expect you to bring any specialized gear for this role, just your expertise and a fantastic reel. Shoot dates are TBD but looking at late summer, early fall in the Los Angeles area. We anticipate a standard 12-hour day, typical for a pilot. Compensation will be discussed directly. We're open to reviewing reels and hopping on calls with qualified candidates. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an ambitious project.
