Senior Line Producer, Documentary Feature

Seeking an experienced Senior Line Producer for an upcoming independent documentary feature. This project delves into the untold stories of iconic 90s indie rock bands, capturing their raw energy and lasting cultural impact. It's an intimate, character-driven piece with a nostalgic yet fresh tone, promising to resonate with music lovers and cinephiles alike. As our Line Producer, you'll be instrumental in overseeing the practical logistics of production from pre-production through post-production. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, scheduling, negotiating vendor contracts, securing permits, and ensuring smooth operations on set and in the office. You’ll be the financial and logistical backbone, allowing our creative team to focus on storytelling. We're looking for someone with extensive experience in documentary features, a strong track record of bringing projects in on time and on budget, and excellent problem-solving skills. Experience with productions based in Los Angeles is a must. A solid understanding of deferred compensation models and backend percentages is also crucial, as this position is compensated on the backend. This is not a W2 position. Flexible schedule, but expect full-time commitment during peak production phases. We'll be working with a small, dedicated team, and a collaborative spirit is key.
