Director, Comedy Web Series

Hey filmmakers, Diana here. I'm producing an independent comedy web series, "Miami Mayhem," and we're on the hunt for a skilled Director to bring our scripts to life. This is a fast-paced, character-driven comedy set in the vibrant, sometimes chaotic, world of South Florida. Think 'Broad City' meets 'Key & Peele' with a Miami twist. We've got a fantastic cast already in place and some truly hilarious scripts, so we need someone who can work quickly and creatively with actors, maintain a strong visual style, and keep the energy high. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the producer and DP on shot lists, blocking scenes, guiding performances, and overseeing the overall creative vision from pre-production through principal photography. We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years of directing experience, ideally with narrative shorts or web series. Please share your reel or links to your previous work, especially anything comedic. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for 8-10 days in late October, early November, primarily on weekends or evenings. We'll be shooting on location around Miami, mostly using available light setups. We'll provide camera, sound package, and basic lighting. Compensation will be based on experience.
