Production Design for Feature Film

Hey everyone, Rosa (your favorite Crafty!) here. I'm helping the team on an upcoming independent feature find an entry-level Production Designer. It's a gritty, character-driven drama set in modern-day Los Angeles, with a cool blend of realism and a slightly surreal undercurrent. Think low-key but visually impactful art direction, where every prop and set piece tells a story. We're looking for someone eager to dive in and learn, with a strong eye for detail and a knack for creative problem-solving on a budget. You'll be assisting the Art Director, helping with set dressing, prop sourcing (thrift stores will be your best friend!), and general art department support. This is a fantastic opportunity to get real-world feature film experience and expand your portfolio. Ideally, you'll have some experience in short films or student projects, a car, and a willingness to hustle. Please include a link to your portfolio or any relevant work when you apply. We're planning to shoot over approximately three weeks in early Fall, with prep starting a few weeks prior.
