Senior Production Designer, Web Series

Looking for a seasoned Production Designer to lead the visual aesthetic for an upcoming independent web series shooting in Miami, FL. This is a dark comedy crime drama, think early Coen Brothers meets Florida Man, with a strong focus on character-driven narratives and quirky, sometimes surreal environments. We need someone who can translate a unique vision into tangible, impactful sets and props, often on a lean budget but with significant creative freedom. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director on conceptualizing the series' managing set decoration, prop procurement, and overseeing the art department crew. You'll be instrumental in crafting the distinct tone of the show through design choices. We require at least 5+ years of experience as a Production Designer or Art Director on narrative projects, a strong portfolio or reel showcasing your range, and a deep understanding of practical design solutions. Miami connections for sourcing and crew are a huge plus. We estimate shoot dates to be approximately 20-25 days sometime between late September and mid-October. Typical filming days will be 10-12 hours. We will provide catering, transportation for equipment, and a small art department budget. Looking for someone collaborative and resourceful.
