Hybrid Models & Accessibility: How have your premiere/deliverables strategies evolved?
Hey everyone, Grace Nakamura here, a working Casting Director navigating some new waters. I'm genuinely curious about something that's been on my mind. With all the talk about hybrid production models becoming more standard, and the increasing, and frankly overdue, focus on accessibility requirements for 2025-2026, I'm finding myself rethinking our rollout plans.
My team has typically focused on a physical premiere with digital backups, but now we're exploring more concurrent global digital launches alongside smaller, local in-person events. On the deliverables side, we've started implementing more robust captioning and audio description checks much earlier in the post-production pipeline, which is great but adds a new layer to our timelines.
I’m trying to figure out if others are seeing similar shifts. How has your strategy for premieres and final deliverables adapted over the last two years to meet these evolving demands? Any insights or experiences would be super helpful!
