Moving from Mass Emails to Precision Outreach - What's Your Experience?

Hey everyone,

I'm Kevin Park, an AD currently juggling a few different indie projects. We've always relied heavily on mass emails for crew outreach, vendor inquiries, and even securing some smaller locations. Honestly, it feels like we're just shouting into the void half the time. The response rates are abysmal, and I'm spending more time sifting through non-relevant replies or, more often, just silence.

I’ve heard the term 'precision outreach' tossed around a lot lately, implying a more targeted, personalized approach. I'm trying to figure out how to actually implement this effectively in our fast-paced environment. For those of you who have made that shift away from mass emailing, what does your process look like? How did you identify who to target, what tools (if any) did you use, and most importantly, what was the measurable impact on your response rates, time saved, or the overall efficiency of your 'sales cycle' (for lack of a better term for our project needs)?

Really curious to hear some real-world examples.
