Production for Documentary

Hey everyone, I'm Priyanka, a Line Producer currently working on an independent documentary project here in London, and we're on the hunt for a dedicated Production Assistant. Our film explores the vibrant underground music scene in East London, focusing on the stories of emerging artists. It's a gritty, energetic film, capturing the raw passion and challenges these musicians face. We're a small, tight-knit crew, and we're looking for someone enthusiastic to join us. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with logistics, running errands, helping with basic equipment setup and breakdown, coordinating with contributors, and generally being an extra pair of hands wherever needed on set and in the office. We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and has a real passion for documentary filmmaking. No specific gear is required, but if you have any production experience, even on student films, that's a plus. Please share any relevant experience you have. Shoot dates are still being finalised but will likely be spread across 4-6 weeks in July and August, mostly weekday hours with some flexible evenings. We'll provide travel expenses within London and lunch on shoot days. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in documentary production.
