Premiere & Deliverables: Adapting to Hybrid Models & Accessibility?

Hey everyone,

I'm Jason Fong, a Gaffer, and I'm genuinely trying to get my head around something. We've all seen the shift to hybrid models, and I keep hearing whispers about mandatory accessibility requirements coming down the pipeline for 2025-2026. My recent projects have been a mix of smaller indie docs and some corporate stuff, and honestly, our premiere and deliverables strategy hasn't changed much in the last two years. We're still largely hitting deadlines for theatrical, VOD, and broadcaster specs, business as usual.

But I'm wondering if I'm missing something crucial. For those of you who've been deep in this, with the rise of hybrid models for releases and the impending accessibility mandates, how has your premiere and deliverables strategy actually evolved in the past two years? Have you had to adjust timelines, allocate new resources, or incorporate different versions of content from the get-go? I’m trying to figure out if I need to fundamentally rethink our approach.
