Premiere & Deliverables: Adapting to Hybrid & Accessibility?
Hey everyone,
I'm Emma Gallagher, a working Props Master, and I've been wrestling with something lately. With all the talk about hybrid models becoming standard and the upcoming mandatory accessibility requirements for 2025-2026, I'm genuinely curious: how has your premiere and deliverables strategy actually changed in the last two years?
On my last feature, I found myself spending a lot more time prepping physical assets for digital scanning or detailed photography for virtual world integration, far beyond what used to be a simple 'wrap and store.' And post-production deliverables for things like prop breakdowns with accessibility notes feel like a whole new beast. Are you all seeing a shift towards more digital asset creation from the start, or new formats required for screenings/launches beyond just the final cut? I'm trying to figure out if I'm overthinking this or if there are concrete steps others are taking.
How have your approaches evolved?
