Burn-ins for external collaborators: What are your go-to strategies to avoid sync nightmares?

Hey everyone,

I've been re-evaluating my post-production pipeline, especially when working with external picture editors and sound mixers. Sync issues, even small ones, can eat up so much time. I'm currently on a narrative short, shot primarily on a V-RAPTOR XL with some B-cam FX3 footage, and the deliverables are coming back from the editor. I usually just request a standard ProRes LT reference with timecode burn-in, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something crucial that could save headaches down the line.

For those of you consistently dealing with external teams, what specific burn-ins do you find absolutely essential in your workflow to prevent sync problems before they even start? Are there any less common ones that you've found surprisingly helpful? What tools do you use to implement them efficiently? I'm curious what unique approaches people have adopted beyond just timecode.
