Impact of AI/VP on Tech Stack & Bidding - A Production Coordinator's Query

Hey everyone,

I'm Mei-Lin, a Production Coordinator, and I'm really trying to get a handle on how much things are shifting. We've all seen the incredible advancements with tools like Runway Gen-3 and the increasingly sophisticated virtual production workflows powered by Unreal Engine. It feels like every other week there's a new breakthrough.

At our company, we're definitely looking at how to integrate these for efficiency, especially for pre-viz and some initial concepting. We've dabbled with Unreal for some pitch decks, which has been pretty compelling, but I'm curious about the bigger picture. My main challenge right now is understanding how to accurately bid projects when these tools can potentially dramatically alter timelines and resource allocation.

So, my genuine question is: How has your company's tech stack and, crucially, your bidding process evolved in the last 18 months to stay competitive with the rapid rise of AI tools and virtual production?
