Bridging the Gap: Affordable Gear vs. High-End Results?

Hey everyone, I'm a boom op mostly working on mid-range shoots, think ALEXA Mini or V-RAPTOR XL. I'm helping a friend on a short film next month, and our budget is pretty tight. We're looking at using her LUMIX S1H and my MixPre-6 II, along with a couple of 6060 lavs. However, when I look at what some guides recommend for 'professional' work, they often list gear like Sony FX6s and top-tier wireless systems, which are way out of our league.

My question is, how do filmmakers on a tighter budget, using cameras like the LUMIX S1H or even a Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2, and audio recorders like a MixPre-6 II, achieve those truly 'professional' cinematic results that are often associated with much higher-end equipment? What are the key techniques or workflows that make the biggest difference when you can't rely on the most expensive gear?
