When does StudioBinder make sense over free tools for indie films?

Hey everyone, as a location scout, I'm always looking for ways to streamline my workflow and help productions optimize their resources. I've mostly worked with indie projects, and we've typically relied on free tools, Google Sheets for call sheets and tracking, even Celtx for some early scheduling stuff. It gets the job done, but it can feel a bit clunky, especially trying to keep everything updated across different documents. I recently demoed StudioBinder and it looks incredibly powerful, combining so many functions. For an indie film with a tight budget, say a feature with a small crew (20-30 people total, including cast), is there a point where investing in something like StudioBinder actually saves money or time? Or is it more of a luxury until you hit a certain scale? I'm trying to figure out if the efficiency gain in coordination justifies the subscription cost. What's your experience?
