When does hard-wired SDI backup become impractical, and what's the alternative?

I definitely understand the reliability aspect of a physical connection, especially with so many moving parts on set. We've tried to adhere to this for our main P.O.V. cameras, but honestly, in the heat of the moment (talent running around, quick scene changes, spontaneous interactions) keeping everything tethered is proving to be a logistical nightmare. Cables are getting snagged, production assistants are tripping, and we're losing precious setup time. What real-world, fast-paced scenarios have you found where a hard-wired connection just isn't feasible, and what’s your go-to, next-best alternative for reliable backup video feeds?
