Art Dept Assistant, Feature Film (Paid)

Hey everyone, Ray here. We're gearing up for an exciting independent feature film shooting in NYC this summer, a gritty psychological drama with some really ambitious visual storytelling. I'm looking to bring on an Art Department Assistant to help us out. You'd be involved in a bit of everything, honestly: Prop sourcing and organization, set dressing assistance, helping with fabrication, and general runs for materials. It's a fantastic chance to get hands-on experience on a feature. We're looking for someone enthusiastic, a quick learner, and generally handy. Experience is entry-level, but if you've done any theatrical tech, art school projects, or even have a strong DIY background, that's a huge plus. A driver's license and comfort with driving a cargo van around NYC is definitely a big advantage, but not a deal breaker. Shoot dates are TBD but looking like July and August, generally 10-12 hour days. We'll provide lunch and snacks on set, and transportation assistance for bigger hauls.
