Music Video Editor (Mid-Level)

Hey everyone, I'm producing an exciting music video for an indie pop artist, and I'm looking for a talented editor to bring it to life. This project is a vibrant, high-energy piece with some surreal, dreamlike sequences, so we're looking for someone who can really play with color and pacing to enhance the visual storytelling. We've got a great concept, and I think it'll be a lot of fun to cut. Your main responsibilities will involve ingesting footage, creating a strong first assembly, incorporating visual effects (some greenscreen work), and collaborating closely on picture lock and final color correction. We're aiming for a polished, professional look that stands out. We need someone with at least 3-5 years of editing experience, ideally with music video or commercial work demonstrating strong rhythmic and aesthetic sensibilities. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is a must, and experience with DaVinci Resolve for color grading is a big plus. Please include a link to your reel showcasing your best work. Shoot dates are roughly mid-July, so I’d want to start cutting immediately after. This is a remote-friendly position, but local talent in Chicago is a bonus for collaborative sessions. We're offering $1000-1500 per 10-hour day, depending on experience. Come join us on this cool project!
