Production Designer, Music Video (NYC)

We're on the hunt for a talented Production Designer for an upcoming music video shoot in New York City. This independent production is for an emerging indie pop artist, and the video has a stylish, retro-futuristic vibe we’re really excited about. Think vibrant colors, clean lines, and a touch of the uncanny. It’s a chance to build some truly unique sets and create a distinct visual world. You'd be responsible for conceptualizing and executing the visual aesthetic, including set design, prop sourcing, and overall art direction. We'll need you to work closely with the director to translate their vision into tangible, compelling environments. Experience designing for music videos or short films with strong visual concepts is a must. Please have a solid portfolio or reel showcasing your production design work. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for mid-July, likely 3-4 days of principal photography, with prep starting a week or two prior. We're looking at standard 10-12 hour shoot days. We'll provide a budget for set materials and props, and we have a small crew ready to assist with builds. Compensation for this role is $2000-3000 per week, depending on experience and the final scope of work. Looking forward to seeing your work!
