Production Design for Web Series

Hey Vancouver crew, I'm a Camera Operator on an independent web series and we're on the hunt for a talented Production Designer. This is a really cool project, a 6-episode sci-fi comedy with a quirky retro-futuristic aesthetic think 'Guardians of the Galaxy' meets 'Scott Pilgrim.' We're looking for someone creative who can bring some wild ideas to life, even on a tight budget. You'll be responsible for developing the overall visual style, set dressing, prop sourcing/creation, and collaborating closely with the director and cinematography team. Experience with sci-fi elements and practical effects is a big plus, but we're open to all experience levels. What we really care about is your vision and problem-solving skills. A portfolio or reel showcasing your work, even student or personal projects, is definitely appreciated. Shoot dates are approximately 4 weeks in October/November, roughly 10-hour days. We provide all transportation to and from set, and a full kit of basic tools/materials will be available, but we encourage you to bring your own specialized gear if you have it. This is a paid position, offering $2000-3000 per week. Looking forward to seeing your work!
