Structure Impact on Micro-Budget Production Schedule?
Hey everyone, I'mNina Kowalski, a screenwriter trying to plan out my micro-budget indie feature. I've written exclusively 3-act scripts so far, mostly shorts, and I'm wondering about the practicalities of a longer form. For those of you working with super tight funds, how does adapting a 4-Act structure or even the Sequence Method actually impact your production schedule and shooting days compared to sticking with a simpler 3-Act approach? I'm trying to figure out if breaking it down differently on paper translates to more efficient shooting, or if it just adds complexity on a shoestring. Any tips for streamlining the shoot itself, especially concerning story structure choices, would be massively helpful.
