Synopses & Revision Pages: Your Personal Workflow Adaptations?

I'm Nina Kowalski, working on two new projects right now, a sci-fi pilot and a horror feature. I've been diving into some of the standard industry documents lately, specifically synopses and revision pages. They're well-defined, and I get their purpose, but I'm curious about how more seasoned writers have truly integrated them into their OWN unique workflows.

For my current pilot, I drafted the synopsis really early, almost as a pre-outline, then came back to it. For the feature, I'm trying to hold off until I have a solid first act. With revision pages, I tend to do them chronologically as I get notes, which can sometimes feel a bit reactive.

So, for those of you who've been through multiple projects, how have you adapted or perhaps even bent these deliverables to suit your personal writing and development process? Do you tackle them in a different order, or use them for purposes beyond what's typically expected?
