Low-Budget Pitch Materials: Tips for Solo Filmmakers?

Hey everyone, Nina Kowalski here. I'm deep into pre-production on an ultra-low budget feature, and it's pretty much a one-person show for now. I've got the script locked, but I'm realizing the next hurdle is creating compelling pitch materials, a treatment, a lookbook, something that really sells the vision without breaking the bank or requiring a design team I don't have.

I’ve tried throwing together some mood boards in Canva and writing out extended synopses, but I worry it still looks a bit too 'DIY' and not polished enough to grab serious attention. I don't have access to expensive pre-viz software or a graphic designer.

For those of you who've successfully navigated the ultra-low budget reality: how have you created convincing pitch materials or treatments? What simplified approaches or accessible tools have you used that genuinely got your projects noticed, even when resources were extremely limited?
