Structural Workflow: Strict Outline vs. Blending methods?

Hey everyone, as a working screenwriter (currently wrestling with a historical drama concept), I've been diving deep into structural methods lately. I've read about everything from the classic 3-Act to 4-Act structures and the Sequence Method, and it's got me wondering about your personal approaches. When you're tackling a new script, do you stick rigidly to one of these outlining methods from concept to locked script? Or do you find yourselves blending elements from different techniques as the story develops? I've tried outlining pretty strictly with a 3-Act approach before, which worked for some projects but felt a bit constraining for others. Now, I'm trying to see how others navigate this. How does your structural workflow evolve from that initial spark of an idea to the final draft?
