Sustainability for the Indie Filmmaker: Where to Start?
Hey everyone, as a Key Grip who's often juggling a lot more than just lighting setups on indie projects (think everything from pre-pro to post), I'm trying to make a real push for sustainability in my personal workflow. I've been eyeing a paperless system, maybe using Scriptation on my iPad for scripts, and trying to be more mindful with my battery charging for the Forza 720B and LS 300x. When I'm shooting on my own V-RAPTOR XL, I'm pretty good about minimizing waste, but on bigger sets, it feels insurmountable.
For an independent filmmaker who wears many hats, what are the most critical sustainability tasks, like implementing a paperless workflow or conducting a waste audit, that you'd recommend integrating into their personal process to make the biggest impact?
