AF Anamorphics: Crew Impacts on Indie/Commercial?

Hey DPs and ACs,

I'm finding myself increasingly curious about the impact of these new, more affordable autofocus anamorphic lenses hitting the market. As a DP, I've always loved the look of anamorphics, and traditionally that meant a very deliberate, often slower workflow, especially with focus pulling. We've typically run with ARRI anamorphics or similar, and that's a whole different beast.

Now, with options like various newer autofocus anamorphics, which I've seen on sets paired with a KOMODO-X or even an ALEXA Mini, I'm wondering if this is truly changing how we approach shot design on fast-paced indie features or even quicker commercial shoots. Are you all finding yourselves more willing to go anamorphic now, and if so, how is it affecting your crew requirements? Specifically, are 1st ACs finding their workloads shifting significantly, or are we still needing the same level of granular focus pulling, just with more sophisticated tools? I'm curious about real-world use.
