Cloud-based post-production: How are Frame.io and ShotGrid REALLY changing things?

Hey everyone, Nina here. I'm currently in the early stages of a new spec, a sci-fi thriller, and I'm really trying to think ahead about how the post-production workflow would look. I've been hearing a lot about platforms like Frame.io and ShotGrid, and how they're supposed to be game-changers for collaboration. In my past projects, feedback and approvals were often a mess of emails, shared drives, and conflicting comments in documents, which was always a headache. I haven't actually used these cloud tools myself yet. For those of you who have been in the thick of post-production recently, how dramatically have these platforms actually shifted the way teams work together, especially given their widespread adoption? Beyond just sharing files, what's been your real-world experience?
