1st AC, Feature Film, Los Angeles

Hey crew, I'm working with an independent production on an upcoming feature film, it's a gritty, character-driven drama set in the underground boxing scene. We're looking for a sharp 1st AC to join our small but passionate team. This isn't a massive studio shoot, but we're aiming for a high-quality, impactful story. Your main gig will be pulling focus, maintaining camera equipment, and ensuring everything runs smoothly with our Red Komodo kit. We need someone who’s got a strong understanding of camera systems, has a keen eye for detail, and can keep calm when things get a bit hectic. We're also looking for someone who can help with lens changes, battery management, and general support for the camera department. Ideally, you'll have 2-3 feature or solid short film credits under your belt as a 1st AC. Please have your own focus puller tools and a solid understanding of a professional set environment. We're shooting for approximately 15-20 days, mostly 10-12 hour days, with shoot dates TBD but likely early fall.
