1st AC (First Assistant Camera), Pilot

We're looking for a skilled 1st AC to join an independent production, shooting a pilot for an upcoming psychological drama series. The project has a dark, mysterious tone with some surreal elements, offering a visually engaging story. You'll be working closely with our DP to ensure all shots are perfectly in focus, manage lens changes, and maintain camera equipment throughout the shoot. Your attention to detail is crucial for bringing this vision to life. We need someone with experience on narrative sets, a strong understanding of various camera systems (likely an Alexa Mini LF or similar), and the ability to pull focus with precision. Please have your own follow focus system and basic camera toolkit. A reel or portfolio demonstrating your focus pulling abilities is a must. Shoot dates are approximate and will be 3-4 days in late May, early June, in Los Angeles. Expect 10-12 hour days. Lunch and craft services will be provided on set. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a project with serious potential.
