1st AD for Pilot, Miami

Hey, Isabella here. I'm a Line Producer seeking an experienced 1st Assistant Director for an exciting independent pilot shooting in Miami. This project is a dramatic thriller with comedic elements, exploring themes of hidden pasts and unexpected turns. It's a character-driven piece, and we're looking for someone who can help maintain a dynamic and efficient set while fostering a creative atmosphere. You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day shoot schedule, coordinating cast and crew, ensuring we stay on track, and anticipating potential challenges. Your strong leadership skills and ability to troubleshoot on the fly are essential. We need someone who can hit the ground running. Candidates should have significant 1st AD experience on narrative projects, ideally pilots or indepedent features. Please have a solid resume showcasing your organizational prowess and a track record of successful productions. We aren't providing gear for this role, but a reliable communication kit is a must. The shoot is tentatively scheduled for 4-5 weeks in late spring, specific dates TBD. We anticipate standard 10-12 hour days. We'll be providing production insurance and meals on set.
