Line Producer, Indie Feature (Brooklyn)
Hey film fam, I am looking for an experienced (or even junior, if you're eager and sharp) Line Producer for an independent feature film. It's a dark comedy, kind of a screwball farce with a heist element, set entirely in Brooklyn. We're on a tight but ambitious schedule, aiming for a festival run. This project is going to be a lot of fun. We need someone who can hit the ground running with budgeting, scheduling, and managing our crew and resources efficiently. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day production logistics, managing vendors, and making sure we stay on budget and schedule. Experience with independent film budgeting software and production management tools is a plus, but not strictly required if you can demonstrate a firm grasp of the core principles. No specific gear is needed outside of your own laptop and phone for work. Tentative shoot dates are late April through May, roughly 5-6 weeks of principal photography. We are planning 10-12 hour days. We'll provide a production office space in Brooklyn, along with standard production supplies and support. This is a great opportunity to get a feature credit and work with a dedicated, passionate team. Daily rate is $200-400 depending on experience. Please send a resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
