Line Producer, NYC Doc (Equity Partnership)
Looking for a proactive, experienced Line Producer for an upcoming independent documentary project. This film explores the vibrant, often overlooked street art scene in Brooklyn, focusing on the stories behind the artists and their impact on the community. It's a character-driven piece with a raw, authentic tone that aims to showcase a unique cultural movement. As our Line Producer, you'll be instrumental in developing and managing our budgets, schedules, and logistics from pre-production through post. Key responsibilities include securing locations, negotiating vendor contracts, hiring crew, overseeing on-set operations, and ensuring all production runs smoothly and efficiently. We're looking for someone with a strong background in documentary filmmaking, particularly with experience navigating independent productions in NYC. You should have at least mid-level experience in a similar role, a solid understanding of production insurance and permits, and excellent problem-solving skills. While we're a small team, your expertise will be crucial. We anticipate principal photography to begin in late summer, early fall, with a flexible schedule averaging 30-40 hours a week during key production phases. This is an equity partnership opportunity, offering a stake in the project's success. Please share your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
