Art Department Assistant, Pilot

Hey all, I'm helping our Art Department Head find an enthusiastic and driven Art Department Assistant for an upcoming pilot presentation shooting in Los Angeles. This is a dark comedy with some really cool, quirky production design needs, think a Wes Anderson meets Black Mirror vibe. It's an independent production that promises to be a lot of fun on set. Your main responsibilities will involve assisting with set dressing, prop management, and general support to the Art Director and Production Designer. This might include anything from sourcing specific items to helping with set builds and breakdowns. You'll definitely be getting your hands dirty and learning a ton. We're looking for someone with at least some prior experience in an art department role, even if it's just student projects or short films. A positive attitude and a willingness to jump in are key. Please have a portfolio or reel, however small, demonstrating your artistic eye or prop work. Access to your own reliable transportation is a must. Shoot dates are approximately two weeks in late July, exact dates TBD, but expect long but rewarding days. Meals and craft services will be provided on set.
