Art Dept. Assistant, Commercial (Entry)

Hey everyone! I'm a Production Designer working on an upcoming commercial shoot in Los Angeles and I'm looking for a keen Art Department Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced, high-energy shoot for a well-known brand, focusing on capturing sleek, modern lifestyle vignettes. Think clean lines, vibrant colors, and dynamic visuals. It's a great opportunity for someone new to commercials to jump in and learn a ton. Your responsibilities will primarily include assisting with set dressing, prop management, organization on set, occasional runs, and general support for the Art Department. No special gear is required, just a good attitude and a willingness to get hands-on. While this is an entry-level position, any prior experience on film sets or artistic projects, even student films, would be a plus. Please don't worry if your reel isn't extensive for art department specific work, but a portfolio showing some creative inclinations or organizational skills is a bonus. Shoot dates are approximately 2-3 days in late May, with a potential prep day beforehand. Days typically run 10-12 hours. We'll be working out of a studio in the LA area. Lunch, snacks, and craft services will be provided daily, and we'll ensure you have all the tools you need to do your job effectively. Excited to hear from you!
