Senior 1st AC (First Assistant Camera), Music Video

Hey filmmakers, Jordan here. I'm putting together a crew for an upcoming music video shoot in Detroit and looking for an experienced 1st AC to join the team. This is for an indie artist, a soulful R&B track with some cool, cinematic visuals we're planning, think moody lighting and intimate close-ups. It's a passion project but we're aiming for a polished, professional look. Your main responsibilities will be pulling focus, managing camera setup and breakdown, and generally keeping our camera department running smoothly. We'll be shooting on a Red Komodo. You'll need to know your way around that camera system. Please have your own follow focus system and any essential tools. I'm looking for someone with significant experience, someone who can anticipate needs and troubleshoot quickly. A strong reel showcasing your focus pulling skills is a must. Shoot dates are tentatively set for the first week of August, likely 2-3 full days. We'll provide meals and you'll get a full copy of the final video for your reel. This is a volunteer position, but it's a great chance to work on a cool project and connect with other local talent. Reach out with your resume and reel if you're interested.
