1st AC (Volunteer, Pilot) - LA

Hey filmmakers! I'm a Production Designer on an exciting pilot, a dark comedy with a unique visual style aiming for a gritty, yet hyper-real aesthetic, sort of Coen Brothers meets 'Atlanta.' We're looking for a passionate 1st AC to join our small, dedicated crew for this independent production. Your main gig will involve pulling focus, setting up and maintaining camera equipment, and ensuring everything runs smoothly on set. We need someone with solid experience, ideally some work on shorts or indie features, who can handle pressure and collaborate effectively. You'll need to provide your own gear (focus pulling tools, clapper, monitor, etc.), and a reel showcasing your work is a must. Our approximate shoot dates are late July, early August, over 3-4 intensive days in the Los Angeles area. We'll provide craft services, a great, supportive working environment, and some fantastic material for your portfolio. This is a volunteer, passion project, but we're committed to making something truly special.
