Production for Feature Film

Hey Nashville film fam, Cole here (boom op extraordinaire) reaching out for an upcoming independent feature film. This is a gritty, character-driven drama, with some dark comedy undertones, think early Coen Brothers meets something from A24. It’s a compelling script with some really strong performances lined up, definitely one to get excited about. We're looking for a sharp, experienced 1st Assistant Camera to join our team. Your main gig will be pulling focus, managing camera gear, and generally keeping our camera department running smoothly. You'll work closely with our DP to execute their vision and ensure everything is dialed in. You should be super organized, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs on set. We're open to all experience levels as long as you've got a solid understanding of camera systems and a strong work ethic. You should have your own kit, including a follow focus, essential tools, tape measure, and a good ditty bag. Please send a reel or examples of your work, and let us know what camera packages you're most familiar with. Shoot dates are approximate, targeting late April/early May for about 15-18 days. We're looking at 10-12 hour days, standard indie film hustle. Lunch and craft services will be provided daily. This is a paid position, $300-500/day, depending on experience.
