Production for Commercial

Hey filmmakers, DeShawn here, Best Boy Grip on an upcoming commercial shoot in New Orleans. We're looking for a Camera Production Assistant to join our crew. This is a fast-paced, high-energy project for a well-known retail brand, with a modern, clean aesthetic. We'll be shooting a mix of lifestyle and product shots, so we need someone who can keep up and anticipate needs. Your main responsibilities will involve supporting our camera department, including monitoring battery levels, assisting with equipment setup and breakdown, running errands, and generally being an extra pair of hands wherever needed. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience on a professional commercial set in a supportive environment. No prior camera department experience is strictly required, but a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethic are essential. If you have your own reliable transportation and have worked on any set before, even as a general PA, that's a plus. Please don't worry about sending a reel for this role. Shoot dates are provisionally set for early to mid-August, for approximately 3-4 days. Days will likely be 10-12 hours. We'll provide meals and snacks on set. Compensation is $150-300 per day, depending on experience. Come join our independent production and help us make something cool!
