VFX Artist, Supernatural Web Series (Chicago)

Hey folks, Robin here, a storyboard artist putting out a call for a talented VFX artist for an upcoming independent web series. Our project is a spooky, character-driven supernatural horror story, think unsettling atmosphere and practical effects blended with some really slick visual enhancements. We're aiming for a polished, professional look to make our ghoulish visions come to life. We're looking for someone to handle a range of VFX duties, from subtle atmospheric touches and creature enhancements to more complex magical effects and environmental alterations. You'll be working closely with our director and post-production team to integrate these elements into our footage. We value creativity and problem-solving, and we're open to working with folks at any experience level, as long as you can show us your skills. Ideally, you'll have your own workstation and relevant software. A strong reel showcasing your visual effects capabilities is a must. Flexibility with your schedule is appreciated for our approximately 8-10 weeks of post-production, which will largely be remote with some potential in-person meetings in Chicago, IL. We're paying $2000-3000 per week, depending on experience and scope of work. We'll provide all necessary footage, creative briefs, and a supportive team environment.
