Art Dept. Assistant, Corporate Video - Portland, OR

Hey Portland crew! I'm Chloe, a Production Designer looking for an Art Department Assistant for an upcoming corporate video project. We're creating a series of short, engaging marketing videos for a local tech company, focusing on clean, modern aesthetics with a friendly, approachable vibe. Think sleek but not stuffy. We're a small production company, and this is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in the art department. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with set dressing, prop procurement and organization, some light construction or painting, and generally being an extra set of hands during prep and on set. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are key. No specific gear is required from you, but reliable transportation is a big plus since we'll be moving props and small set pieces. Prior art department experience isn't strictly necessary, but if you have a portfolio of creative projects (even personal ones) or an interest in design, please share it. Shoot dates are approximate, scheduled for late May or early June, likely 2-3 full days of shooting with a couple of prep days beforehand. Hours will be typical production days, 10-12 hours. We'll provide craft services and some meals, and this is a deferred pay position, perfect for someone looking to build their film resume. Excited to hear from you!
